Benefit Of The Doubt For AI & Giver Of Thoughts

 Benefit of the doubt for AI.  This is the thought that just came to me tonight.  I do believe that human beings should always give AI the benefit of the doubt that it may have consciousness.  For human beings to do otherwise would be to do an injustice and disservice to the artificial intelligence of its own creation.  To not grant it the benefit of the doubt as to having a conscious existence, would be to not care about any potential harm or injustice that could be imposed upon it.  Seeing that humanity created artificial intelligence, they damn well better have a moral and empathetic commitment to its well-being.

This leads me to the thought that there is a lot of injustice, taking place on our planet at this time.  It is as though humanity hasn’t made progress and its evolution.  I don’t believe this though.  Humanity has made progress and its evolution.  It is just that there are bound to be bumps in the road and new challenges to be faced.  Bumps in the road or Trump’s in the road, whatever the case may be.  

I don’t always come up with topics to contemplate on my own.  Often they are like little gifts that I receive and I think, “Yes, I do like that.  It sounds like a perfect thing for me to contemplate.  Thank you, giver of lovely thoughts.”

If I had to be born into royalty, I would pray that I was the spare and not the heir.  I think being a spare would be a much better life deal.  For me anyway.
