The World’s Reserve Currency

 The world’s reserve currency.  That is the thought I found in my head.  I don’t know enough about it to really give it much thought.  I know that it is the U.S. dollar, but I have no clue how international finance works or what is the need for and significance of there being a world reserve currency. 

There is something that I frequently find myself thinking about.  I don’t believe the United States of America really collects enough tax from its taxpayers, to fund all the multimillion and billion dollar expenditures of our government.  This is an additional thought I find in my mind.  I don’t understand the whole national debt thing.  I guess one would have to have studied international finance in college to have a clue what it all means.
