2026 New Year’s Resolution

 My New Year’s resolution for 2026 is to devote a lot more of my time to things that are really important to me like reading my books and a lot less time to reading and watching news about Donald Trump and our countries current political situation.  I need to focus my attention on my own interests and new activities and not all that noise. 

Back to reading “Melania”.  

Melania, this is my question at this moment.  Did Donald really pull the wool over your eyes as to who he really was.  Are you a person who could write a book that did not reflect your true insights, understanding and experiences?  I don’t know.  In regard to preparing for your RNC speech in 2016 you wrote, “I wanted to convey messages of kindness, compassion, and service to one’s country. Additionally, I wanted to share insights about the Donald I knew, the man I believed would make a great leader for our nation.”  

Well, shit.  I just spoke of wanting to focus my attention away from Donald Trump and our nation’s current politics so I choose to read something that is still very much connected to this.  What kind of dip shit am I? 🤨🤪

“Never choose a man who likes a woman in stilettos.”  OMG I had no reason to conjure up that line.  I don’t personally know any man who has a thing for women in stilettos that I know of.  And I don’t think this was intended as words for Melania.  So I am not sure why those words have entered my consciousness.

It’s like sometimes if I just open my mind to listening to whatever I hear, strange things come forth.  

“Angels abound.”  Ok, that was my next whatever fills my mind thought.  I guess this means there are angels for all.  The word all of course makes me think of Trump‘s line, “Transgender for all.”

Mr. Trump, can you please explain.  I’m obviously having a mental block or I’m stupid but I can’t fathom what you might be thinking.  Unless to you, it means that if transgender people are normalized and accepted, there will be some free for all of people wanting to become a different gender or encourage children to do so.  That makes no sense whatsoever, but I guess it might be a fear and paranoia to you.  Or maybe “transgender for all” is just some meaningless slogan meant to degrade and justify intolerance and non acceptance of transgender individuals.

My witch’s cat.  My little Jilly is my witch’s cat.  This is just a funny reflection.  It’s a witch theme.  I loved the show “Bewitched” when I was a kid.
