All Things Odd And Silly

 When I am in a more sensitive and empathetic state of mind, I think of the astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams.  I guess I am not giving them enough credit for the astronaut spirit in them and their ability to just be strong and do what they need to do.  I feel worried about them and their state of mind.  And about Suni.  What if she is sick?  I saw something in the news about her possibly having some eye or sight difficulties, but then I never heard anything else.  This has me thinking, although I know nothing about Suni herself.  I suppose there is added risk in being an astronaut, even with those in very good physical condition, when they have reached an age where running into health difficulties would be a lot more likely and a greater risk.  They can’t exactly get their butt to a doctor.  No one could call them stupid.  What is my deal with astronauts?  I feel so deceived. 😲😂 I never knew that astronaut ice cream was just a gift shop novelty and nothing that was ever actually consumed by any astronauts in space.  As a young teenager, I really believed that I was purchasing something that astronaut actually ate.  Anyway, I was very confused by there being a lack of a rehydration process.  I guess I must’ve thought that there would be instructions inside the packet.  The whole idea of ice cream being nothing more than just a dry and crunchy block just seemed ridiculous.  

 From a non juror.  I have actually been feeling quite lucky to be spending time this week, reading descriptions and organizing a large collection of books in my garage as opposed to serving as juror.  Maybe some year I will serve as a juror but I actually like the way my week has turned out this year. 😁

 I think I hear a message from some Kitty whisperer.   It was saying to me:  Feisty young male cats do not need to be neutered in order to learn to behave.  This is part of their maturing process, regardless.  As For neutering in Spain (oops, that was supposed to say neutering and spaying) it is something that responsible pet owners must take care of with their pets.  Don’t feel the need though to rush to have this done out of feeling that you need to help your kitten to behave better.  Your un neutered young kitten is quite capable of evaluating the consequences of his actions and taking the clue that he must cease and desist with his exuberant game of using his human as a fun playmate in the game of stalking and catching pray.  You do not need to make a neutering appointment to help your kitten with his behavior.  Make the appointment instead at whatever works out as being the best time. OK, well thank you kitty whisperer.  I’m always open to information of a differing point of view

  This is me when I realized that I somehow put some crazy stuff that I was thinking about and writing online before I even finished writing it. 😲

 Yes, yes, I am insane.  I was just folding some laundry, and my mind was engrossed with the task at hand, when for some reason I suddenly heard the words “Caleb’s crossing” in my mind.  It was an unconscious kind of thought, but I consciously took note of it.  I had no idea what this meant or if it even meant anything at all.  I googled the words and it turns out that this is a novel.  If I have ever seen or heard of this book before, I don’t recall.  I guess I should just make a note of this information and add reading it to my list of 5000 things that I might possibly decide to do.   Update:  In thinking about it and trying to figure out where these kinds of ideas come from, I realize that they are part of my photographic or rather mental graphic memories.  I usually don’t know why they come into my head.  They just do. 

 I learned something knew, earlier today, about older drivers.  Not all older drivers become slower drivers.  I traveled to an event today with a fellow DAR member who is in her 70s as the driver.  To my surprise, I learned that she is a very fast and aggressiver driver.  😲😂😂 The surprising things you learn about people. 😄

 Here is the problem as I see it.  If a person entertains the notion that they have a higher self, they won’t feel sure about whether or not this higher self speaks with a greater intelligence and knowing or is just some whacked out lunatic.  Is this an existential crisis?

OK, I know that one cannot make a request of Elon Musk, so this is just a wish and hope or rather a prayer on behalf of the two astronauts stuck in space aboard the international space station.  Dear Mr. Elon Musk,  May you please grant some special attention to your upcoming International Space Station launch endeavor.  Those two astronauts may really be dependent on you and your Space X mission and the success of this mission to enable them to reconnect with their home and life-giving planet earth.  It’s a big deal to them.  They might very well need you and SpaceX to be their heros.  I pray that all goes well and they make it home.

With all due respect Sir, I wished to speak with your mother.  Yes, this is a joke. 😂  And I asked for a message from Queen Elizabeth. 😂 Seriously though, even as an American, who can’t truly comprehend the British reverence for their royal family, I am nonetheless fascinated and intrigued by contemplations of your mother’s experience of having been born and then having found herself to be her countries reigning monarch queen for decades of her long life. 

I have to go to jury duty this month. It has been exactly 2 years from my last jury duty.  Couldn’t they forget about me for like five years at least?  I really hope this is not my time to actually be chosen to serve on a Jury. 😧 

 When I was high school and college aged, I used to keep written journals.  I eventually got rid of them because I knew that they were something that I would never want to be left behind upon my death, which I imagined of course would take place at a very old age.  But now decades later, I have chosen to write crazy stories and hide them on the Internet.   To me, this seems like a good piece of evidence for being crazy.

 My lunacy story of receiving a message from Queen Elizabeth.  This one is for my own entertainment. “My dear Sharon, my life was a combination of pride and humility, an honored and appreciated sense of duty and a longing for freedom and privacy.  It was a jumble of experiences, but I would not have traded these experiences for anything.”

 This is my message tonight from my higher self.  “You will not escape the Texas Rio Grande Valley without first having a deep appreciation and love for it.”

Angela, I would never have fully appreciated the school that you sent your children to when living in Edinburg and McAllen, if I hadn’t had the opportunity of experiencing the school and environment for myself.

 I have an activity suggestion for you for when you retire from your political career.  Maybe you could go let yourself have a fun experience of shopping at the Dollar Tree.  And I mean that, sincerely.  You might find it to be a bit fascinating.  I highly recommend the Judy Blume books if  you come across them.  Maybe you have a young relative who might like them.  I have seen a couple of her books there recently starting with “Then Again, Maybe I Won’t.”  Okay, Judy Blume may not be your cup of tea, but I can tell you that for me it was an amazing find to discover a couple of her books there.  I read her books when I was young.  I am not in need of any Judy Blume books myself, but they could really be a treasure to any young person of today would could appreciate them.  Maybe you might find something of interest of your own at the dollar tree.  I challenge you. 

 In a state of feeling sleepy while still keeping myself awake, this memory came to mind.  When I was young, I encouraged my grandfather to try sliding down a large metal slide while lying on his side because I had done this and I wanted him to partake in this fun also.  Well he was a good sport and loved to play with his grandchildren so he gave it try.  Unfortunately for him the landing didn’t go so well and he ended up landing on and really hurting his shoulder. 😲 If I ever have any grandchildren, great grandchildren and etc., this should be a good story and cautionary tale for them.  Don’t try this with your grandfather.   And then there was time that I convinced my grandmother to go down a slide into a swimming pool at a campground.  She didn’t really want to do it because she didn’t really swim and didn’t want to get her hair wet.  The water at the end of slide was not very deep though and you could just slide off the end and land on your feet and be standing up.  This is how it
